Trader Joe's Baby Pak Choi bag

new as of september 11, 2026

Trader Joe's Baby Pak Choi just landed at $2.49 for 6 oz bag. A cheap, easy upgrade over bagged spinach for stir-fry nights. It hit the produce case the same day as the sliced chicken breast.

What is it?

A 6-ounce bag of pre-washed baby pak choi, the tender young form of bok choy, in mixed green and red leaves. The ingredient list is one item long. Trader Joe's calls it mild and slightly sweet, crisper than spinach, and says it keeps a little longer in the fridge than spinach does.

How to use it

Eat it raw as a salad base or cook it fast. Trader Joe's starter recipe is a stir-fry with scallions, garlic, ginger, a pinch of salt and sugar, Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce, and Toasted Sesame Oil. Because it is pre-washed you can go straight from bag to pan. The bag holds two servings of about 85 grams each.
