What's new at Trader Joe's? The 20 newest arrivals, September 2026

Twenty products carry the "new" badge in the finds Trader Joe's catalog as of mid-September, and they split cleanly into fall desserts, fridge grab-and-gos, pantry snacks, and three drinks. Two of the twenty are seasonal comebacks rather than first-time launches, and we call those out below. Every price is Trader Joe's own listed price. Your store can differ.

The list below runs newest first, by the date each item first showed up in our catalog. That date is when we saw it, not necessarily when it hit shelves.

What each dessert actually is

• Plum Torte ($7.99). A frozen, fruit-first torte from a Canadian supplier. Plums are the first ingredient. Bake from frozen, six slices per torte.
• Basque Style Cheesecakes ($4.99). Two crustless, gluten free cheesecakes made in Spain with the signature scorched top. Thaw a few hours in the fridge and eat as-is.
• Pumpkin Flan ($3.49). Two foil cups of water-bath custard blended with pumpkin purée, caramel on the bottom. Run a knife around the edge and invert. No starches or thickeners in the ingredient list.
• Passion Fruit Mini Ice Cream Bars ($3.99). Six gluten free bars of ice cream with passion fruit juice. Eight ingredients total.
• Maple Butterscotch Blondie Baking Mix ($4.99). Add one egg and a stick of melted butter. The box includes a butterscotch syrup packet to drizzle after baking. Makes 15 pieces.
• Pumpkin & Spice Caramel Sauce ($3.99). A thick caramel with real pumpkin purée, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Trader Joe's suggests it over the Apple Pie à la Mode Ice Cream, which we covered in the fall shortlist.

The fridge arrivals

• Sliced Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Breast ($4.99). Medium-thin sliced deli chicken with no added nitrates or nitrites beyond what occurs in sea salt and celery powder. About 3.5 servings per 7-ounce pack.
• Baby Pak Choi ($2.49). A pre-washed, multi-colored baby bok choy that Trader Joe's says is crisper than spinach and mild enough to eat raw. Stir-fry or salad base.
• Harvest Kale Caesar Salad ($5.99). A Caesar with kale, roasted sweet potato, semi-dried tomatoes, cheese-and-garlic croutons, and candied pumpkin seeds. Fall seasonal, 11 ounces.
• Charcuterie Party of One ($3.49). A partitioned tray of uncured Milano salami, mozzarella squares, and sesame crackers. One 85-gram serving, built for a lunchbox.
• Calabrese & Mozzarella Swirls ($5.99). Fresh mozzarella rolled inside spicy uncured Calabrese salami. Two servings of six pieces each, no crackers required.

Pantry and snacks

• Razor Clams in Extra Virgin Olive Oil ($5.99). Irish sword razor clams, three ingredients. Trader Joe's pitches them at a third of what specialty tinned-fish shops charge. Sweet, soft, and good on a cracker or in a chowder.
• Spicy & Sweet Picanté Peppers ($5.49). The fiery version of the Sweet Picanté Peppers, from the same Greek supplier. The cheese filling carries chili flakes, chili powder, and chili extract.
• Organic Fall Leaf Shaped Italian Pasta ($2.49). Leaf-shaped durum semolina, colored with organic tomato and turmeric. Real pasta, not a novelty. About eight servings.
• Autumn Harvest Sweet & Salty Snack Mix ($4.99). The fall spin on the 2020 Sweet & Salty mix: candy-coated pretzels, chocolate-drizzled caramel corn, mini peanut butter cups, Pink Lady apple chips, flax corn chips, and salted pretzel nuggets.
• Ines Rosales Cinnamon Tortas ($4.49). Century-old Spanish olive oil crisps with cinnamon sugar, brought in directly for a limited run. Break one over ice cream or coffee.
• Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Seeds ($3.99). Toffee-glazed pepitas with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice. This is a comeback, not a debut: Trader Joe's says it is the 13th pumpkin season for this exact recipe.

Drinks

• Spiced Apple Flavored Tennessee Whiskey ($12.99). A charcoal-mellowed Tennessee whiskey with natural apple flavor, 375 mL. Limited time, sold alongside the everyday Tennessee Whiskey. Where alcohol is sold.
• Ethiopia Guji Light Roast Coffee ($10.99). Small-lot whole bean from the Badeyi region of Guji, roasted light for peach and caramel notes. Trader Joe's recommends pour-over. Limited time.
• Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini ($9.99). Vodka, espresso, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spices in a 375 mL bottle, about four servings. Trader Joe's own record no longer marks it new, so treat it as a seasonal return.
