How do I remember seasonal Trader Joe’s favorites for next year?
Keep exact product names, dated tasting notes and a next-season shortlist. Separate your own history from claims about current availability.

Record the exact seasonal product, when you tried it, and whether you would choose it again. Keep a separate note of products you still want to try. finds can hold the taste record, but this workflow does not provide a restock alert or a promise that the same product will return next year.
Capture the identity while you have the package
A note that says “the pumpkin cookies” may be confusing a year later. Include the full name and flavor, and keep any meaningful packaging or preparation detail in your note. Two seasonal products can sound similar while being different things.
Date the tasting, not just the reminder to look again. If you bought a product in September but opened it in October, your reaction belongs to the occasion when you actually tried it.

The final column is your intention. It is not evidence of next season’s stock or formulation. A saved idea should remain separate from products you have already enjoyed.
Compare with a familiar favorite
If you try several seasonal sweets, rank them against foods you already know. That helps distinguish a memorable flavor from the excitement of seeing a limited item. Keep the reason beside the rank: the texture, intensity or serving format that made the difference for you.
You can also note a reservation. “Fun once, but I preferred the everyday version” is a useful result. A seasonal diary does not need to become a collection of endorsements.
Recheck before you recommend it next year
Use the old note as a memory aid, then verify the current product identity and availability separately. If a recipe or package changes, your earlier tasting may not describe the new version. Say when the opinion was recorded instead of presenting it as a fresh review.
