What app lets me rate snacks by taste?

Use finds to log snacks and rank your preferences. A cheese-snack example shows why a taste ranking answers a different question from a nutrition score.

finds lets you log snacks you have tried and compare them to build a personal taste ranking. It is useful when your question is “Which of these would I choose again?” Start with a few familiar snacks, give your reaction, and make comparisons based on your own preference.

What does a taste rating tell me?

Our editor marked both Baked Cheese Crunchies and Reduced Fat Cheese Puffs “love.” In the September 7, 2026 snapshot, the Crunchies sit first and the Puffs third in that editor’s six-item Snacks list. Two positive ratings still lead to a preference between the bags.

The Crunchies note was especially enthusiastic about the cheese-snack comparison. The Puffs note called them “excellent.” Neither note measures nutrition, and the words “Reduced Fat” in a product name do not determine its taste rank.

Which kind of app do I need?

Your questionUseful record
Which snack did I enjoy more?Personal taste ratings and comparisons
Why did I like it?A short note tied to the exact flavor
What do I want to try next?Saved, untasted products
What ingredients does it contain? The current package or retailer ingredient record

The finds App Store listing describes product logging, saved products and pairwise rankings. Those features fit the first three jobs. For ingredients, inspect the package you are buying; a personal ranking does not establish dietary suitability.

How should I begin?

Choose three snacks from a category you already know. Check the exact product and flavor, log each tasting, and add one detail you would want to remember. “Loved the flavor but would choose the other bag” is a perfectly useful result.

You do not need to produce a storewide top ten on the first day. Your order becomes more useful as it includes the products you actually encounter. If you are unsure about a snack you ate months ago, taste it again before giving it a confident comparison.

For the next step, see how to rank products. To choose a first bag, use the salty-snack shortlist.
