How do I share Trader Joe's recommendations with friends?
Share the exact product and the reason you liked it. A real cookie example shows how to make a recommendation more useful than a vague favorite.

Share the exact product together with one reason you liked it and one condition that might change the recommendation. finds supports sharing products with friends, according to its App Store listing. The useful part of the recommendation is still your explanation.
“Get the cookies” leaves your friend to guess the flavor. “Try Maple Leaf Cookies if you like a distinct maple flavor” gives them both a product and a reason.
What should the recommendation say?
Our editor’s actual Maple Leaf Cookies note calls the maple flavor “very distinct.” The September 7, 2026 record places them fourth of 16 sweets. That supports a personal recommendation for someone who wants maple; it does not establish that every friend will prefer them.
A compact recommendation can contain:
- The exact name: Maple Leaf Cookies.
- Your experience: you tried them and liked the maple flavor.
- The relevant preference: the recipient should want a maple-forward cookie.
- The product reference: share the product in finds so the name stays attached.
Use your own experience in that format. The example above belongs to our editor, so it should not become your claimed tasting if you have not tried the cookies.
Should I include a reservation?
Yes, when it matters. Our editor liked Lemon Flavored Wafer Cookies but wrote “Definitely good, just too sweet.” Sharing only the positive reaction would remove the most useful detail for a friend who prefers less sweetness.
A rank can add context, but a precise note often explains more. Someone may happily choose your sixth-place sweet because lemon is their favorite flavor.
What happens before my friend tastes it?
They can use the exact product as a saved shopping idea. Once they try it, their own reaction belongs in their own record. Do not count a recommendation you sent as a positive response from the recipient.
This guide does not report a recipient test or claim that a particular group agreed. It uses the sharing feature described in the finds App Store listing and actual personal notes to show what useful recommendation content looks like.
